Canarian Culture Spring in Berlin: IX. Canary Cultural Days are coming!
From 14 April to 16 April they will be held this year at the Instituto Cervantes Berlin. *
Thanks to many years of good cooperation between the German- Canary Society and the Instituto Cervantes, we have found it an excellent place to start our anniversary appropriately in the center of Berlin. Short preview here:
- 14th April 2010, 19:00 clock, opening night with the theme "Alexander von Humboldt and the Canary Islands, a popular science dialogue with scientists from Madrid and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to the heritage of the great explorer Alexander von Humboldt and what we still new and so surprising to say.

- 15. April 2010 19:00 clock: "El Hierro" - a new book on the small Canary island, the title "United Nations Biosphere Reserve and a lot of credit to sustainable energy and environmental protection measures speeches by world safer. The musical component of this philosophical attitude, attentive and respectful to the earth, its goods and people to work around is to "Bimbach. A group of Canarian and international musicians lived since 2005, each in July, together for ten days on El Hierro, developed and tested together and makes music and the results then at Festival concerts demonstrate. All this is in the subsequent film, "El Surrealismo Bimbach" are also visible.

- 16th April 2010, 19:00 clock, last evening :
quasi an "architectural dialogue between the Worlds "is planned for this evening, in the spirit of the great all-rounder and outstanding Canarian artist Cesar Manrique in Lanzarote. The Canarian Fernando Gómez Aguilera, president of the Cesar Manrique Foundation, and the German Eberhard Bosslet, sculptor and architect, professor at the Dresden Art Academy, discuss the topic "The Canary Island landscape and its poetic power". At the end there will be a concert with young virtuoso Canary to bring the works of the Canary Island Music Association "Promuscan" will be performed.
