Vibrant colors, bold colors of music: Canary modern classic in the Konzerthaus Berlin

10th November 2008. The Werner Otto Hall of the Konzerthaus is filled almost to the last place.
Four young musicians from Gran Canaria, members of the String Quartet "Francisco Guerrero" connect at the invitation of "Canarias en Berlín" for the first time in the German capital. The crowd is excited, and finally the Canary Islands Classical music is virtually unknown. The focus is therefore a work it recently passed the Canary composer Francisco Brito Báez (1943-2008).

As if in memory of him will be listed here, and today his trilogy for string quartet. The concert will be introduced but with well-known pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, his String Quartet DG-flat Major, KV 156th After the break, then the trilogy in Brito's neorealist style. The sentences "Tejeda", "Teror" and "Telde" associate in its programmatic nature of these impressions varied types located on Gran Canaria places. According Colour and contrast the pieces are created. The musicians bring with them diverse sounds and well-coordinated operations and rhythmic accuracy advantage. The audience responded to open-minded and enthusiastic. Received strong applause, the musicians after the last note died away in the trilogy. Dvorak's String Quartet No. 12 makes the conclusion, and the "American" referred to. This very well-known pieces from Dvorak's music phase of the "New World" again shows the distinct joy of music, the energetic interpretation will and expressive playing of the Canary
guests. After the addition, "Teror" F. Brito, there was again enthusiastic applause and roses from the President of "Canarias en Berlín", Cristina Guerra, all four musicians.
